So, the very first thing that we did is get with Dr. Zollner to figure out who he is, what he does, what types of clients he is looking for, his mission, his brand story, and so on. The discovery phase is absolutely crucial for us to build a website that fulfills the needs of the business and the visitors.
After working through the discovery phase, we began work on the website. The website had to be totally revamped as it was “old” compared to newer, more modern designs. The website was very hard to navigate, it did not answer the “WIIFM” (what’s in it for me) questions, and it was not reflective of who he was and the clients that he wanted to reach.
- All these reasons are why his conversions on the website were a paltry 2%.
We made sure that the website was clean, modern, and easy to navigate. We did not overload the visitors with a ton of useless information that would overwhelm them. And finally, we made sure to answer the “WIIFM” questions to ensure greater conversion rates.
After focusing on the website itself, we started looking outside of the website and what could be done to increase his visibility in the community, in the local search results, and we found plenty of opportunities to help him.
We started working on his Off-Page SEO, building out quality, authoritative links pointing back to his website. Additionally, we fixed his Local SEO by fixing inconsistencies with his address, phone numbers, links, etc. We then added a Chat Bot to his website so visitors would get an immediate response, rather than looking elsewhere.
Then, we create a couple of landing pages/funnel pages targeting a specific market and a general market. We used several marketing campaigns through Google to generate traffic for these landing pages.
